Come, walk through the Word.
The Spirit of God does not merely hand us information. He helps us recognize the gifts of grace and learn the mind of Christ. Come as a listener, not a master.
1 Corinthians 2:11–16
11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Stay with the movement.
No one knows another person’s inward life unless that person makes it known. In an even greater way, we cannot climb into the mind of God. The Spirit knows God and graciously teaches His people what He has freely given.
Having the mind of Christ does not mean knowing everything or standing above correction. It means that the Spirit is reshaping our understanding around Jesus—His cross, His humility, His wisdom, and His love.

Grace is the atmosphere of this sentence. The Spirit helps believers understand what they did not earn and could not discover on their own.
Paul is describing dependence on the Spirit, not permission to dismiss careful thought. The same Spirit who reveals Christ also teaches His people through the words of Scripture.
This is shared life under Christ’s teaching and lordship. His way of humility and the cross becomes the pattern by which believers learn to see.
